The essence of my work is not really to solve problems in the normal sense. Rather, I guide people to look through and look deeper into what they refer to as “me” and “reality”. This naturally opens and relaxes the mind which can physically be experienced as a release of tension/energy.

Unveiling deeper aspects of our essential being and the true nature of reality has immense implications for our life and leadership. Because it illuminates and asserts what we all long for deep in our hearts; unconditional peace, love, freedom and joy.

With over two decades of experience from 45+ countries and 4 continents I’ve worked with CEOs, leaders, entrepreneurs, pro athletes, business owners and creative minds from all walks of life.

And through the years I felt pretty good about what I was doing, even though I’ve certainly not been free from making (huge) mistakes.

But then, after many years of “normal work”, I had a series of spontaneous and deeply profound psychological/spiritual experiences in 2015/16 which sparked essential, lasting changes in my way of being and experiencing life.

And a deeper question emerged: What is really the purpose of “helping people”? Are people actually truly happier after working with me? The answers that came seemed shallow, unsatisfying. Something was off. My mind felt stuck in a mental roundabout.

This resulted in the withdrawal from most of my activities for 5-6 years, spending 8-10 hours daily, to become deeply absorbed in knowing more of what I had experienced. And integrating what was unfolding into my existing knowledge, paradigms and work.

More real than real

After much studying and exploring daily for several years I gradually realized how I had overlooked deeper realities of “my normal existence”.

Like if the background, or a deeper consciousness, came alive/through. Worries/problems subsided. A pervading freedom and peace emerged. And life were now shifting in strange, profound (and effortless) ways.

I started asking deeper questions to existing and new clients. Questions that pointed beyond mental/emotional wellbeing. Beyond trying to look/do good. Beyond achieving. Beyond mere “results” and “performance”.

The more people I worked with, the more I noticed the same essential shifts happening. When you unveil your apparent (constructed) personality you move beyond personal problems.

The “problems” are still there, but more as practical challenges. You experience good and bad thoughts and feelings. But you don’t suffer from the issues and attachments of your personality.

It is in a way very ordinary. So ordinary, in fact, that we overlook the deeper aspects of our being, and instead (innocently) identify with the objects of our experience such as thoughts, feelings, sensations, relationships, work, things, activities, substances etc.

This creates our identity as a (separate) person and the underlying feeling of “lacking/needing” and “surviving/protecting”. And this foundational misidentification is the core reason for our experience of feeling “disconnected”, “insuffucient” and “not being enough”.

Thus we get (unconsciously) caught in the endless pursuit of seeking and resisting in order to reduce and cope with our underlying pain/suffering. But who is seeking and resisting?

From a personal perspective our problems seems real and the protection of our personal identity through attachment and aversion demands our constant attention. We are deeply identified with and entangled in the well known pain/pleasure cycle.

But as the misconception of believing you are your personality becomes clear, who you really are begins to shine more brightly.

And that is a very strange and unfamiliar experience. At first. Then it becomes more obvious. Your relationship to life, reality and yourself changes into a more substantial experience of peace, freedom and joy.

Realizing this has immense implications for “you” acting in the world as a leader, creator, partner, parent and global citizen.

Transcendence, not just transformation

What I do is based on my fascination of exploring the nature of Self, consciousness, reality and existence. Or in short; nonduality.

As opposed to the prevailing materialistic paradigm, science with all it’s branches is seen as a subset of nondual philosophy. Science is important in it’s own right and describes how objects “function” and interact. But not what they and we ARE.

Science has no way to describe subjective experience, often referred to as “Qualia”. Or more succinct; science knows nothing of consciousness, the very foundation of all experience.

No consciousness, no experience. From this inquestionable logic we can infer that the ultimate substratum of existence is consciousness. And that is exactly what out own direct experience reveals too.

I’m also grateful for my experience with the vast pool of extraordinary people I’ve been privileged to work and collaborate with. Exploring, contemplating, sharing insights and experiences has been of immense value.

The foundation of my teaching is to simplify/unveil deeper and subtler aspects of who/what we really are, our essential being/consciousness. And to demystify and show how what you’re truly seeking is what you essentially are.

When we unveil our deeper Self/essence it leads to liberating clarity, freedom, compassion, peace and power; the essential qualities that lies at the heart of trustworthy leadership and effortless high performance.

And even more essential: A peaceful, joyful life.

Let me be clear: The loving, peaceful, joyous life is not a dream. The experience of boundless freedom is very real. But if you look for Truth in the objective world it’s like looking for the radio host in the radio.

Happiness cannot be found in the body, mind or world because it does not exist there.

Boundless, selfless leadership

This ongoing, fruitless cycle of avoiding pain and seeking pleasure is the daily (underlying) reality for many people who in most of their activities are looking to break free from their suffering, despair and insecurity.

It has led me to the realization of how humans naturally and effortlessly thrive when we unveil our apparent reality. When we look beyond psychology and assumptions to our direct experience of the present moment.

It has led me to clearly see and experience how unquestioned belief in personality, identity, concepts, past, future and the materialistic paradigm are keeping people and the world locked in suffering. That was also my own experience.

Disclosing the nature of who we, life and reality really are IS the “open secret” to our deepest questions. And as you continue to lift the veils your sense of being shifts from feeling limited to limitless. From separation to wholeness.

The ongoing, almost unavoidable implications of this growing presence and aliveness is deep, caring, powerful leadership no matter your title. You rest in what you truly are and that awareness/presence fuels your leadership with clarity, integrity and sincerity.

Likewise, performing/creating at your peak increases “organically” since your system is released from the unhealthy tension/belief that the better you perform, the more you are. Your mental acuity sharpens and your mind shifts more easily from open/relaxed to complete concentration.

I have an M.A. in Communication and Psychology from the University of Roskilde (Denmark). And love the ongoing study/exploration of nonduality, consciousness, spirituality, philosophy of mind, psychology, metaphysics, neuroscience, quantum physics etc. And how that relates to reality, life, humanity, leadership, performance and creation.

I like to work with honest, no BS top performers: CEOs, leaders and entrepreneurs. But also help people with special challenges or fewer means.

My home is in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Linz (Austria) where my soulmate, Judith, is also from. And besides the passion for work and study I love training calisthenics, hanging out with my kids, family and friends. I also enjoy writing, travelling, reading and skiing. Plus great coffee, dark chocolate and heavy metal to spice it up!

Basically, I value the simple, playful life. I don’t take “myself” very seriously and are always looking forward to the next unknown adventure.
